What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What exactly is a channel for marketing and what are the reasons why an online marketer have one?

It is a marketing strategy designed to attract potential customers to your site. It is a process of selling that involves a person visiting your blog to find information that will help them solve their issue. You will be able to build a rapport with every person you meet using specific tools.

This will allow you to understand the needs and wants of each user. This will help you give the most accurate information to all your visitors. If you are able to build trust with a potential customer, they are more likely to purchase your products. This visitor will then become a customer.

Many customers become regular customers, and are more likely to purchase each item on your site. A marketing funnel describes the steps that are required to convert a person who comes to your website into a client who will return to you for future purchases.

This is the goal that should be achieved. This can easily be accomplished with a well-constructed funnel.

Your efforts to market are capturing the attention of people, and bringing them to your funnel. The funnel is opened when they fill in the forms that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I say "personal" because nobody is going to opt in on your business lead capture page. They are looking to become a leader, not a business.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. When they click the "Sign up now" or "Enter here" buttons, they are in a position to enter a new universe of marketing through networks.

It's their decision. It's their decision. You've sold them nothing except yourself as a leader as a mentor and as someone that can show them how to get more leads and more money into their businesses.

This is how the typical marketing channel functions.

To attract and qualify people to your products, you need to offer them an opportunity to win a prize on the "front end". You must sign up to receive the free product.

You now have these people in your email list and you can offer them similar promotions that may be of interest to them.

Signing up for the complimentary offer will lead them to a page with low-price offers or"a "trip wire offer". At this point, they are moving to the "back side" of your funnel.

The purchaser will be taken to another similar offer with a lower price if they purchase the low-priced offer (also known as an upsell). If the buyer buys this higher priced offer, they'll be taken to the next related product with a higher price. This process can be repeated for many more.
