AirPods 3 may not launch until the second half of 2021

We heard that Apple might be planning to launch a new pair of AirPods, but whether or not that will be the AirPods 3 or the AirPods Pro Lite remains to be seen, but if you’ve been hoping for the third generation AirPods, She might have to wait until later in the year, at least that’s what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says.

According to Kuo, the Apple AirPods 3 will only launch in the second half of the year, probably in the third quarter of the year. Kuo claims the headphones aren’t finished yet and won’t go into production until later in the year. As we said earlier, there is a little bit of confusion around the AirPods lineup right now, so it’s unclear how this could affect Apple’s March rumors.

For strangers, Apple is slated to hold an event next week, originally intended to launch a new line of AirPods called AirPods Pro Lite. This will be an intermediate model that is cheaper than the Pro in price, but also has features that make it better than the regular AirPods model.

Either way, we should have the details early enough, especially if the company’s plans for an event over the next week are true. So check out us next week for the details, if any are available.
