Apple's AirPod Studio in iOS 14.three Beta

While the rumors about the new iPhones were pretty much true, when it came to the accessories, those were rife. It was rumored that Apple might introduce new headphones at the iPhone event, but that didn't materialize. It was later rumored that the AirPods studio has since been postponed to 2021.

Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, but in the meantime, a recent leak could confirm the fact that the headphones are in place. This is thanks to 9to5Mac, who discovered a brand new icon that represents headphones in the beta version of iOS 14.3. While we've already seen headphone icons in iOS, this seems to be designed differently.

The symbol features an almost square headband and swivel arms so that the ear cups of the headphones can be folded inward. This seems in line with an earlier Bloomberg report claiming that the AirPods Studio would have "a retro look with swiveling oval ear cups and a headband connected by thin metal arms."

The AirPods Studio would also be the first Apple-branded headphones to be launched by the company. While Apple owns Beats and has released various Beats headphones and earphones in the past, the AirPods Studio would be a first for the company when it comes to Apple-branded audio products.
