Google's new Nest Thermostat encompasses a cleaner and sleeker design

Thermostats have been around for decades, and for the most part, they have been largely functional and you haven't really thought about them. However, when Nest first introduced its smart thermostat with its circular design, many began to think that thermostats could possibly be redesigned.

That being said, Google is now back with its latest Nest thermostat, which we believe shows a design improvement over previous models where it seems much cleaner and sleeker than ever.

The new Nest thermostat will for the most part be equipped with the same intelligent features as its predecessors. This includes the ability to set quick schedules that allow users to set different temperatures for different times of the day. There is also a savings finder that uses the Nest's Smarts to try to find ways to save energy in your home.

The new Nest thermostat will also feature Google's Soli radar technology, which detects movement so it knows if you are at home or on the go. This means that the thermostat will not keep your home cool / hot when you are out, saving you energy. Google claims the new Nest thermostat is easy to install and only takes 30 minutes to set up. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, you can buy one from Google for $ 129.
