Tencent is working with Chinese language automaker Geely to develop driverless and clever automobile expertise

China's Tencent has partnered with automaker Geely on various auto technologies as traditional automakers continue to partner with tech giants.
As part of the agreement, the two areas "in the areas of digitization, intelligent cockpits, autonomous propulsion and low-carbon development," according to the companies.
This includes making the development cycle of a car more digital, adding intelligent applications to the driver's cockpit and finally exploring autonomous driving systems.
Tencent has a cloud computing division and develops artificial intelligence applications that could be useful in the automotive sector.
Geely has tried to improve its technical skills by partnering with large technology companies.
That month, with Geely as a minority shareholder, Baidu formed a standalone electric vehicle company that will be responsible for manufacturing.
Meanwhile, Apple iPhone vendors Foxconn and Geely have formed a joint venture to sell manufacturing and services to the global auto industry.
