The HomePod Mini may very well be introduced subsequent week

With all the excitement surrounding smart speakers, it was no surprise Apple tossed its hat in the ring when the HomePod launched. To say the speaker received lukewarm reception is an exaggeration as many have been put off by the price and the seemingly lack of functionality compared to other smart speakers.

Apple might try again as Apple might be next to announce the HomePod mini, according to a tweet from @ L0vetodream. For strangers, there were rumors that Apple might actually be working on a smaller and cheaper version of the HomePod called the HomePod mini.

Not much is known about the HomePod mini at this time, and how it can differ from the regular HomePod other than its price and size. Companies like Amazon and Google have actually had quite a bit of success with devices like the Echo Dot and Nest Mini speakers, which give users an inexpensive way to set up and communicate with a smart home.

We're not sure how much cheaper the HomePod mini could cost, but Apple is holding an event for next week and hopefully more details will be released. Then contact us for more updates.
