Fenty Beauty Holo & # 39; daze Mini Shiny Bomb Set

Every Christmas season, brands bring many sets of existing miniature-sized products to market (along with larger, more valuable sets, they also include bestselling and cult favorite products from their brand). In the past I have often bought and rechecked products to ensure consistency and 100% sure they would be included in gift guides. A lot of these sets have actually been very consistent in quality / color, especially lip products that dominate the sets I've reviewed in the past!

In order to review a wider range of brands and products, I've chosen to do fewer reviews. I thought this year I would post a list of makeup sets that caught my attention – good range, good value for money, or a great way to try a more expensive formula – and link to previous reviews.

Skin care kits are more common this year, and while I don't write many formal reviews, I routinely test new skin care products throughout the year for year-end awards purposes – so I've included some of the kits that do that include products that are mine Liked and / or from brands I use regularly!

For sets that contain mainly (or all) new colors, such as the Fenty Beauty Holo’daze Gloss Bomb Set pictured above, you can find these ratings here!

Are there any Christmas sets that you noticed or that you picked up? Bundled a few favorites at a discount?

Make-up sets & kits

Becca Prismatica Light Essentials KitBecca Prismatica Light Essentials Kit ($ 35.00, $ 66 value) includes three miniature size highlighters (but still a respectable amount for everyone!) In the champagne pop, vanilla quartz, and rose quartz I discussed earlier. I've found that the newly released shade, as long as it's not in a palette, is usually pretty consistent with the performance of the original release.

Clinique Fast Lipstick DuoClinique Fast Lipstick Duo ($ 9.50, $ 25 value) includes Black Honey and Pink Honey. Clinique brings this kit to market almost every year, so I've checked these two colors here in kit form before.

Dior Mini Rouge Dior lipstick setDior Mini Rouge Dior lipstick set ($ 50.00) includes four miniature size lipsticks (all from the permanent range). As long as you can stick to the floral scent of the Dior lipstick range and you don't mind that they don't live up to 16 hour wear and tear (come on!), The set offers a way to test the formula or enjoy four colors for less than the cost of two full size.

Givenchy Mini Le Rouge lipstick setGivenchy Mini Le Rouge lipstick set ($ 50.00, worth $ 67) includes four miniature-sized Le Rouges in four best-selling colors (all previously rated). Le Rouge has long been a favorite of mine – see colors discussed here earlier!

Laura Mercier Mini Stargazer Stick QuartetLaura Mercier Mini Stargazer Stick Quartet ($ 35.00, value $ 70) includes four miniature-sized cream colored eyeshadows in amethyst, au naturel, magnetic pink, and intense rose gold colors. I've reviewed these kits in the past and they're usually pretty good – occasionally something is a little more pliable than last time, but not in ways that dramatically change performance. You can browse my caviar stick reviews here.

Rare Beauty Mini Lip Souffle DuoRare Beauty Mini Lip Souffle Duo ($ 15.00 for 0.20 fl. Oz.) Includes two miniature-sized liquid lipsticks – some of the top performing products from Rare Beauty & # 39; s debut – that are perfect for trying out. It's a very pigmented formula, so even the minis have a good, long life. Check out the Rare Beauty reviews here.

Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek SetRare Beauty Lip & Cheek Set ($ 28.00) contains four miniature size products: two liquid blushes, a lip balm, and a liquid lipstick. It's a great way to try the range in a cheaper way – and all of the products in it are products that "make a little big difference". Check out the Rare Beauty reviews here.

YSL Mini Rouge Pur Couture lipstick setYSL Mini Rouge Pur Couture lipstick set ($ 50.00, $ 76.00) contains four miniature size lipsticks from the permanent range. It's a comfortable, more pigmented formula that's lightweight, easily moisturizing, and long-lasting. Check out the reviews of Rouge Pur Couture here.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick set ($ 160.00) includes five full-size Rouge Volupte Shines ($ 32 each instead of $ 38 per pop). It's a popular formula for those who like a glossier, brighter color of lipstick that still offers medium to higher color coverage. Take a look at the reviews of Rouge Volupte Shine here.

Skin Care Sets & Kits

Biossance Let It Glow SetBiossance Let It Glow Set ($ 25.00, $ 60 value) contains two products: Squalane + Lactic Acid Night Serum and Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. Squalane is one of my hydration sites, and Biossance is usually on my rotation as they really encompass that particular ingredient!

First Aid Beauty All that FABFirst Aid Beauty All that FAB ($ 49.00, worth $ 127) includes five bestselling First Aid Beauty products. Longtime readers will know that FAB is a brand that I have used often and regularly. Your Ultra Repair Cream is always in my household (my husband uses it more than I do, as I flit back and forth between moisturizers like a commitment phobe). This is a great way to try their popular products without breaking the bank – and they're not tiny sample sizes either. Other first aid beauty sets First aid beauty sets.

Jack Black The Balm SquadJack Black The Balm Squad ($ 25.00, $ 32.00 value) includes four full-size lip balms, including two new limited-edition fragrances. I've shared my love for this lip balm in the past and it's still used regularly. It's what we let float around in different drawers and desks. I use it more during the day than at night (I use something heavier / stickier), but it's still one of my favorites for on the go and during the day as it's smooth, non-sticky, comfortable, moisturizing, and plush to the touch. I always pick up one of the Christmas sets!

Belif Moisturizing Bomb Holiday SetBelif Moisturizing Bomb Holiday Set ($ 38.00, $ 54 value) includes four products designed for hydration: The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb (1.68 oz), the Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner (0.67 oz), the Moisturizing Eye Bomb (0, 17 oz) and the Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm (0.30 oz.). I'm a huge fan of the Belif Moisturizing Bomb range, the cream in particular, and this is probably a set I'll hold onto myself at some point.
